Frequently asked questions
- What can I track in CollectorBox?
-
Track games, consoles, and accessories across any platform. Save purchase price, condition, photos, receipts, and notes. Use the wishlist to plan future pickups and mark items as for trade or sale when you’re ready.
- Are my invoices and prices private?
-
Yes. Receipts and invoices are always private and never shown on public pages. You decide what’s public: collection items, lists, and profile details can be shared or kept private at any time.
- Can I share my collection with friends?
-
Yes. Create a public profile and share a link to your collection or specific lists (e.g., wishlist, for trade). Public pages only show what you choose, no personal details or invoices.
- Do you support multiple platforms and regions?
-
Absolutely. Track items from any platform or region. Add custom entries for rare variants, limited editions, or accessories that aren’t in standard catalogs. We will add the item to the public collection after review and your photos if you allow us to do so.
- Can I import or export my data?
-
You own your data. Export your collection for backups or analysis. Import from common formats is on our roadmap so you can bring data from spreadsheets or other apps.
- How does trading work in CollectorBox?
-
Mark items as “For Trade” or “For Sale”. People interested in a particular item can indicate their interest. If you own that item and have enabled “For Trade” or “For Sale” mode for it, you will receive a notification informing you of the interest. You can then decide whether to contact the person, accept a potential offer, or ignore it.
